{30 Days of Thanksgiving}

30 Days of Thanksgiving is a month long link-up from November 1 – 30. The purpose is to give thanks to God. I would love to have you join me. If you would like to participate, please read the guidelines:

1)      You don’t have to post every day. You may choose to write only one post during the month or a weekly post on the subject of giving thanks. Others may choose to create a sidebar or page list of their blessings. You might focus on a particular scripture on the subject of giving thanks, acknowledge a blessing in your life, or write about a Thanksgiving tradition or a particular Thanksgiving memory. Whatever you choose is okay, as long as you acknowledge God as being the source of all gifts. This is a Christian blog and we want to bring glory and honor to the Father and Son.

2)      If you decided to participate, leave a link on your blog to Reflections of His Grace, then come back here to the 30 Days of Thanksgiving page and enter your link. Note: if you decided to do a daily post, it isn’t necessary to enter the permalink of each one – simply enter the URL of your blog. However, if you only post once or twice, you may want to leave the permalink for that particular post, or if you create a separate page, enter the permalink for the page. I have created a special blog button for this series – you can find it on the main page.

3)      The link will be a blog hop, so the code will be available if you choose to enter it into your post.

4)      I realize that we are all on time restraints, especially with the upcoming holiday season (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day). However, try to visit at least one other blog. Although the purpose is to give glory to God, I believe we can encourage one another by our visits and comments. Who knows? The post you read may be just the encouraging word you need for the day.

5)      That’s about it. If you have any questions or have a problem entering your link, email me at joan(at)reflectionsofhisgrace(dot)com. I look forward to having you join!

    Hi Joan,

    I would love to join and thanks for letting us do so even if we don’t post daily. I’m impressed that you plan to post every day.

      I posted everyday last year, and it was a challenge. (I linked to a couple of other blogs that were doing a month-long Thanksgiving link-up.) However, it made me really stop to think about my blessings. This year, I’ll be focusing on different scriptures that have to do with giving thanks. Looking forward to you joining in.

  • http://myfreshlybrewedlife.com/ Barbie

    I might jump in here. I do know another blogger who is doing this as well. Having just come off the “31 Days of Abiding”, I may just do a weekly post. Would it be okay if I link up here and to the other blog as well?

    • http://www.reflectionsofhisgrace.com Joan

      Hi Barbie – I hope you can join. Yes, it is fine with me to link to both blogs. I understand about the weekly vs. monthly post. I have a feeling that I won’t be posting as often in December after this 30 days. Blessings…
